French Championships Long Distance (22.08.2015)

Running slowly with recovering hamstring. Safe route to no.1 but path stopped and I went too far. Careless as not pacing. Ran no.3 well but could not spot vegetation boundary and then drifted through not obvious medium green finally and luckily re-locating on re-entrant. Stupid route to no.7. Should have dropped down onto path and around but concerned about leg descendiing on slippery rock, so straight through, then did not have a clue where I was on path so went down to re-locate. Lack of training started to tell plus the heat so slowed badly. Drifted left on long leg to no.10, crawled up hill to no.11 and held it together around rest of the course. Felt like running in sand! Pleased with run but could have been much better.
